How do I install office97 upgrade on XP Home? I get a message similar to "no qualifying files found"
I have used this program on win95 and win98. Help!!!!! Thank you

If you have no previous version of Office on your XP Home OS, that is the reason you get the error messag
"no qualifying product" etc...
Since you mentioned Office 97 as an upgrade, if you have the previous version
Try this: when you recieve the error message, insert your previous version to "show" it to your upgrade

When I upgraded to XP pro from Win98 the new xp would not read the files or
the programs. I think XP looks at compatiable Win files differently that 95 &
98. At this time I beleive it is a lost cause. When I tried the trial office

What you think isn't true. XP can handle files that were created by a
previous install of 95 or 98.

Did you check that your hardware is capable of running XP. Use the
tools provided by Microsoft prior to upgrading.
