Install-on-first-use-issue

Office2003 - SP1
WindowsXP SP2
A new installed pc.

The first time I want to save a document to the desktop some kind of
install-on-first-use runs. There is no problem in saving to a local drive.

Does anybody know what feature is installed here? When I have found out I
want to change that specific setting to "run from my computer".
