Install problem

Hi All,
I'm installing the 120 trial pack for project-server.
I've finished installing the SQL 2000 instance and WSS.
When i start installing the Project Server i get an error in the DB step.
I select the create a new database. in the Database server name i type the
SQL server i've created in the SQL phase: Tam-Project\ProjectServer
and choose the SQL server authentication with the Administrator user/password.
I get en error "the server you typed is not responding" (hope i translate it
well), "please verify the name".... (or something like that).
I've check the SQL server name and user permissions in the Security folder
and it seems OK.
Anyway Im kinda lost here...Any suggestions?

Does your server name contain a dash? Not a good idea.

Hi Gary,
I have a different Sharepoint server with the name Tam-KM and its working
great.
Is it a Project server sensetivity only? if so i will change the server name.

Are you typing more than just the server name in the field? If so, perhaps
that's your problem in this case. I've seen unpredictable flakiness, though,
with dashes in server names.
