We currently have a client for whom we are going to install an SBS 2003 premium system. They also need EPM with external vendor interaction.
I've read the requirements for Project Server 2003 as well as the Project Server 2003 Installation guide. SBS 2003 Premium seems to have all the required components for Project Server 2003 (Windows Server 2003, SharePoint, Exchange, IIS 6.0, SQL Server) and obviously those components all reside on one computer. However, the installation guide recommends against installing all of the Project Server 2003 components on one computer.
The client will have less than 6 internal active users and perhaps as many as 5 external users (don't worry we are counting the CALs). So I am not worried about installing it on one system.
Is there anything related to SBS 2003 Premium that will prevent Project 2003 Server from operating normally (besides obvious things, CPU, memory disk performance etc.) if installed on an SBS 2003 Premium system?
thanks,
brad
