Install Question

Hope someone can help on this.

We just had to wipe our secondary computer, an old laptop with Win98. The
copy of Office 97 we had was erased when we reinstalled Win98.

Now, I can't find the floppies (yes, floppies) for Office 97. I do have a
copy of academic Office 2000 Premium from my grad schools days that I'm not
using anymore. Tried to install it, but since it can't find the old copy of
Office it won't let me install.

I tried entering the MS product key on their online help system, but it
won't recognize. Now, I need to get a copy of office on this system and
need to somehow get a copy of Disc 1 for Office 97. Any idea how I can get
that from Microsoft or work around it? My wife's ready to kill me.

Thanks.

Microsoft no longer has copies of Office 97 or 2000 available for
replacement. I suggest you check on the web to see if anyone has a copy for
sale.
