Install Run-Time more than once

Phil

Hi,
I have Access 2000 Developer that I use to package several programs. If I
package these programs with Access Run-Time is there any problems installing
several programs on the same computer that does not have Access? Each
install will try to install Access Run-Time. Will this create any problems?
Will each program work correctly?
I have someone that has an XP system that is having problem installing the
programs.
Thanks,
Phil

Unless your install package is modified to force it, the runtime itself will
only be installed once. Any subsequent runtime install will "see" that the
runtime is already there just as it would detect the presence of a licensed copy
of Access. Of course this means...

Install runtime 1
Install runtime 2
Install runtime 3
Un-install runtime 1

....could result in runtime 2 and 3 no longer working.
