install service pak for XP home edit ; do not have XP small busine

I cannot renew my firewall subscription without the latest windows service
pak. The service pak will not install without a disc from XP small business
version -- but I have the home edition. Now what -- buy new software?

What exactly is a "firewall subscription"?

What is a "home edition of XP small business version"? That's what you said,
yet one seems to be a term of Microsoft Office and the other seems to be a
term of Microsoft Windows.

You could always ring Microsoft, or ask the supplier of your PC.
