install trouble

I just installed Project Server 2003 (after installing and configuring WSS),
but I can't reach any of the pages, http://servername/projectserver. I have
done this installation before and have never had this problem. I have added
the URL to the trusted sites. Any idea what would cause this or how to fix
it?
Thanks!

Hi BK,

Did you create two IIS web sites for your deployment? One for WSS and
the other for Project Server.

You might want to check the thread called "BUG - Project Server 2003
Single Computer Installation Guide" for further instructions.

Cheers,

I think I created two IIS web sites. I followed the instructions to set up
WSS, which said to extend the default website, whice I did. After I extended
it it was renamed as SERVER NAME_HOME, and under the virtual server list it
shows up but there is still a default web site on the list, and they both
have the same URL. During the Project Server installation it asks to select
a website from the list, and it also says to select the default web site (the
list contains default web site and SERVER NAME_HOME), both of these have the
same URL. I select the default web site like it says and finish the
installation. Is there something different I need to be doing?

Rolly, I'm having difficulting with Extend Vitual Server configuring WSS. I
posted a question on the group list today. I'm following the Project Server
2003 Single Computer Installation Guide. You mention a thread that there is a
BUG in the installation guide. I cannot locate this thread...can you help me
find this thread.
