Burbster
Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
I know that the recommended procedure is to unistall office and reinstall from a CD.
I have tried this, except I install from the ISO on my desktop.
Here is what I tried
used office to remove the 2008 installation
went into documents and dumped the MUD (microsoft user data folder)
went into the library and dumped all the com.microsoft files.
I don't think I got everything because when I reinstalled the office application, it remembered my installation key.
I am new to the Mac and it has really been stretching comfort level. Everything has gone well prior to this MS applicaiton.
Needing a disk to install an applicaiton is not an Enterprise solution.
