I am trying to install my Visio 2000 on my Visio upgrade. When I try to
enter
my install code, it wont let me type an A. e.g. RFMBA is the code for the
first block
and it will not allow me to type an "A" as the last character. All the rewt
of the code
enters fine. I have his installed on my XP system with no problems. Is
this a Vista
problem? It there a solution besides upgrading to 2007?

Since Visio 2000 is no longer in mainstream support, there has not been any
testing performed on that combination of Visio/OS. However, I have
installed many products on Vista that are fairly old, and I've never seen
the product key rejected with Vista at all. Except my own poor typing, of
course.

You might try change the problem letter to a number. Usually when the
entry form refuses to accept a character, it's because they type is
incorrect (number versus letter). For instance, maybe the "A" is actually
a "4" .... worth a try.
