Install XP Runtime on an Acc2003 Machine

Hi,
I want to distribute an Access XP Runtime Application.
Users that have Access 2003 installed on their machine and run my
XP-Setup get a problem aferwards: Their standard access (2003) does not
start. They have to reinstall their Access.
Is it possible to avoid that my XP-generated Setup makes changes to the
previous installations?
