Installation aborts Project 2002 std on Win98SE

Error 25506 Microsoft Project Standard 2002 requires
update system
files not detected on your computer. You must install the
system files
update prior to installing Microsoft Project Standard.
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ASYFILT.DLL is version 2.40.4275.1 when
we require
version 2.40.4277.1."

We are installing Project 2002 Std on Win 98 Second
edition.

What do we do? Tried support website but no luck
