Hi everyone,
I had office xp word 2002 on my pc. I then installed office xp
standard 2002 without word 2002. Also with that I installed media
content for office xp 2002. All worked fine. Then I wanted to install
front page and so I tried to installed office xp pro with frontpage.
The following problems occured.
When I tried to install office xp pro, right after typing name on
registration page, it disappears and installation stops.
When I tried to uninstall, repair office standard, I get "Installation
prematurely terminated". I removed the folder, changed the registry
permission and values, deleted office in microsoft in certain keys.
Nothing apparently works.
I used logs to see if some thing went wrong, it says contact company
as error occured.
I scanned for viruses, booted with minimal processes and all other
crap but nothing works. I also followed help from microsoft, did not
help.
Can anyone please help me with this weird situation. I don't want to
format my hard drive.
