installation/debugin problem with word ad in

hi,

i need to develop a word add in (using c#) and after some research i now
have a simple add in code.

i want to test this code to see where i stand and how to continue but i
can't make it work!
Both debuging and installing of the add in do nothing! the word application
starts but nothing happens.

here's what i did:
did exactly what this article says:
(1) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302901 (the
step-by-step part)
(2) built the project
(3) built the setup project
(4) installed/debuged the project

i'm using word 2003 (but i need the add in to work for word 2000 and above)
any kind of help will be much appreciated!

no, no error...
the word application opens up and nothing happens.. even when i'm on debug
mode.
it's as if the word is not aware of the add-in at all.
