Installation Error for Office 2003 Student Edition

I bought a CDROM install package for Office 2003 Student Edition with my
system from Dell over a year ago. I'm trying to reinstall Office and get an
error during install (cannot find zh561411.cab or the file is corrupt). Dell
won't provide any support, because I'm out of warrenty. Can I return this
install CD for a new one? If not, how can I resolve this problem?

Did it come installed on the computer or did it come in the box and you
installed it? If the latter then you have a retail version and MS should
provide replacement CDs. If it came preinstalled then you might be out of
luck. (This is the reason I despise OEM installations - you need to still be
under warranty for them to help you.)

Either case, try cleaning the CD and see if it works.

or maybe try the xcopy cmd to copy the cd contents to a hd location
