installation error office97 on xp

I tried to install office97 Small Business edition on my new xp medi
center machine. All Components loaded, except Word 97. It wen
through all the installation, then gave me this error:

"HTMLMARQ.ocx was unable to register itself in the system registry."

I had disabled my virus program and internet security suite befor
trying to load Office97. There is still a 60 day trial program o
Office 2003 on the desktop, but I haven't activated it. Any ideas?
I noted that in a previous thread it mentioned uninstalling xp servic
pack 2, which I have, but cant find it on my program install/uninstal
utility in windows.
