Installation issue

On July 31, I bought the MacBook Air computer (W88137LJY51), its Superdrive and Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac (Home & Student Edition ). I tried many times to install the MS Office software in this computer, but always failed. It shows that the drive or installer cannot find the software to be installed. Now I am back to China, and tried to contact Apple and Microsoft here in Shanghai, but both of them cannot provide the service because the products were bought in US. Microsoft here in China even cannot find the Product ID (92715-500-2716122-12614) in their system. They said only US can help with this issue. So I have to come back to you for help. I bought this products in Best Buy Rockford, IL 61107. My customer service PIN is: 0045 054 1902 073108. The primary phone I provided in this form is our US company phone. My contact phone is 8613816506486. By the way, Dave/Mike helped me to buy these products when I was in that Best Buy. I prepared some pictures for the products, Invoice and the failure shown on the computer, but I don't know how to send to you. Unfortunately, this is a peer-to-peer forum/newsgroup where Office users
help other Office users. This is not Microsoft support and none of us
here can help you other than to offer suggestions.

Because this is a problem with your MacBook Air (I am jealous!) I
suggest you contact Apple at their support number here in the United
States. You get 90 days of complimentary support
<http://www.apple.com/support/complimentary/>. That number is
1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273).

Apple should be able to help you to see the Microsoft Office installer.
They can not help you with any problems with the installer itself. For
that you can call Microsoft at (866) 474-4882. You are allowed two free
calls for installation support
