Installation of Office 2007

I have some questions concerning best practices for the installation of
office 2007.

1. We are a government entity with roughly 130 workstation PCs that
currently running Office 97; will we have to uninstall Office 97 prior to
installing Office 2007 or will the install of Office 2007 by default remove
Office 97?

2. Is there a minimum RAM requirement for Office 2007?

3. Are there any applications, which if presently installed, could cause
Office 2007 to abort or fail installation?

4.Is it possible to copy the Office 2007 CD to a blank CD or to a USB Drive
to speed the installation on 130 workstations?

1) Generally Office 2007 will offer to upgrade a previous version, but that
only applies to common components, that are included in both versions. ie if
the earlier version has a component that is not included in 2007 that
component will not be removed.
If you were using Outlook 97 you may have some issues and need to configure
outlook 2007 seperately

2) http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA101668651033.aspx
But that is a minimum configeration requirement, IMO you need 512mb ram

4) I guess that might depend on the type of licence

In addition to what these other fellows have said Office 2007 comes on DVD,
not CD.
