Installation of Office XP

I have Windows XP Home Operating System and recently had
to use system restore and re-install all my software.

When I start my machine, I see Invalid BackWeb application
id "7288971" pops up. I click ok.

When I try to install Office XP, the setup fails to
complete. I was able to install Corel with no problem.
Any ideas?

BackWeb is a proprietory HP application.... and probably not related to your
failure to reinstall OfficeXP.

Do you get any error message when trying to install OfficeXP?

Thanks for responding, Carl.

No, I get no error message. It just quits. I might have
inadvertently deleted Windows Installer. How do I get it
back if no disk came with my OS?
