Installation of Sharepoint Portal Server 2003

Hi
I am trying to install, MS Office Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 on Windows 2003, Web edition. It shows, team services and portal server intalled, but none of the services are running. After uninstalling team services, I am not able to repair/remove Sharepoint Portal Server 2003.
i have .Net framework installed on windows server
Any clue, do reply at (e-mail address removed)
