Installation of Student & Teacher 2003

When I purchased my laptop in 2004, I also purchased Office 2003 Student &
Teacher Edition (Dell installed the program before shipping the computer, and
they also included the original Office software disk, which I still own). I
am about to purchase a new laptop -- can I use the original Office '03 disk
to install and activate Office 2003 on my new laptop?

Also, if I am able to install again, is it recommended that I download a
service pack to update Office 2003 Student & Teacher Edition? - which service
pack(s) do I download (for example, Is service pack 3 fully comprehensive to
include all previous needed updates?) Should I be anticipating any specific
problems in downloading the service pack for this Edition of Office?

You install, assuming its not an OEM edition, then run MSupdate

Uninstall any trial edition first
