Installation on Windows 7, but going back to XP

I have Office Small Business 2007 oem installed on my Windows 7 Home Premium
64 bit operating system. I am having some issues (non office related) with
Windows 7 and just purchased an XP license to go to XP. I am going to keep
Windows 7 installed on the hard drive, but going to create a partition for XP
and primarily boot from XP until my issue with Windows 7 gets resolved.

My question is concerning my Office Small Business 2007 license. Can I
install it on XP as well and activate it there incase this resolution with
Windows 7 takes more than 30 days? The Small Business 2007 license is going
to stay on this computer and only this computer, but I am dual booting
Windows 7 and XP. One user, one computer, but dual booting Windows 7 and XP.
Can this be done?

Yes you can install your Small Business 2007 software on your XP
partition. If the activation doesn't work on internet, you will need to
use the phone to activate (watch the screen for the telephone number) it
but I am pretty sure your software will activate alright online without
any problems.

For your Win7 problems, you will need to use online forums to resolve them.

Hope this helps.

If you are going to dual boot 2 systems you need to install XP first and then
Windows 7. As far as Small Business OEM (SB is only comes OEM) goes read your Eula
which states that it can be installed on one Operating System. This means 1
installation even if the same computer.
You will find this out when you will try to Activate. It will not let you if 2
instance are installed on same computer even if in 2 different partitions

Never mind what I wrote for the SB installation. My mistake since I did not read
properly . I thought it was 2003 when in fact it is 2007. In 2007 this is allowed
whereas in 2003 it was not

Only Office XP Small Business edition was OEM only, every other edition was
retail as well.
