Installation options for Office Enterprise 2007

J

Jim Y.

My setup:

Windows XP Pro SP3
Office Standard Edition 2003

Through my employer, I qualify for licensed software through the
Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP). When I logged in with my code, the
only version of Office displayed is Enterprise 2007.

It has more features than I need such as Communicator or Infopath.

My question is simple: During installation, is there an advanced mode
where I can choose the programs in Office Enterprise 2007 that I want?
Or does the Enterprise version require all programs to be installed?

I would be fine with the program set from Office Standard or
Professional.

Thanks.
J.

Hi Jim,

Yes, unless your employer is providing a customized Office CD/DVD product to install to match their preferred settings then you can
choose custom installation when installing a Microsoft Office Suite and choose which apps to install or leave out.

In addition to Jim's comment, you can replace your installation of Office
2003 with elements of 2007 or install 2007 in addition to 2003 EXCEPT
Outlook. You cannot have two versions of Outlook installed.
