installation order

i want to install frontpage 2000 and publisher 2000 from my o2k pro
discs, and also word 2002 from my ms works discs. no problem to
that point.

my question is in what order should i install the service packs and
releases and so forth. anybody with any experience with this? at
this point i'm assuming i should install the 2000 apps, then their
service packs, then word 2002 and its service packs. good idea?
no?

Yep - installing oldest to newest does tend to prevent version problems,
especially with Office SPs.
