Installation Problem

I am trying to install Visio 2002 on a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP.
When I try to install it, I get a message that it is not a valid Win32
application. How can I make this program work?

installing visio 2002 on windows XP-PRO (tablet edition). I got no such
message. Do you have a corrupt install image?

the error hints at the file it is trying to read is corrupt.... consider a
bad cdrom, a bad cdrom reader, etc......
