Installation problem

I own a Dell that had MS Office Small Business 2000 pre-installed on it. I
just purchased the MS Office 2003 student teacher edition so my son could use
Powerpoint for a project. During the install I was asked if I wanted to
upgrade or do a complete install. The installation program recommended that
i do an upgrade, which I did. Now I can't launch Word or Excel because it is
asking me to insert MS Office Small Business XP and configure the settings.
However, if I double click an .xls or .doc file the programs launch without
asking to configure?...When I insert my old MS Office Small Business 2000 or
the new Student Teacher edition. It cant find "SBeret.MSI" on either disks
and it wont let me use these porgrams!!! HELP! Thank you in advance for your
time...
