Installation Problem?

Hi All,
Using Office XP Pro on a WinXP(sp2) machine.
Had to reinstall windows, and lost Access functions. Reinstalled Office
more than once but same problem. No wizards at all functioning in
Access, although all other Office programs are ok.
Symptoms:
When I attenpt to export a report, the field where I get to choose the
format only says "registry error". I need snapshot, but have
temporarily started sending reports to pdf. Some of my reports have
130+ pages, so Snapshot is the best format to distribute them, I think.
I'm not very experienced, but have been using access for some years,
but have no clue as to what's happened here.

I have the same issue in the same basic environment. I recently re-installed
my Windows XP (sp2) system, along with Office XP Pro. Didn't do anything
differently than I normally do (at least, nothing that I can think of).

All other office apps work, but Access is unusable because none of the
wizards work (and, of course, Microsoft has made almost everything wizard
driven these days).

I have done a "repair" install on Office, as well as a complete uninstall
and re-install of Office.

Another strange symptom I see is that every time I start Access it goes
through the initial "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office XP
Professional whth FrontPage" setup screen. This should only happen the first
time Access is run after being installed.

Answers to basic questions:

- I do have "administrator" privilages on the system
- I did install all components of Access XP
- I am not getting any error messages
- I generally install all OS updates before loading applications, and
probably did so this time as well -- but I was in a hurry, so it is possible
that I installed Office before updating the OS.
- I do not have any funky programs, adware, or viruses
- Everything else works fine, just not the Access wizards.

Has anybody seen this / know how to resolve?

I also have this problem. I really need to use Access, but everytime I run
it (2003 version) it runs the Office Installer and Access never runs. I ran
the Office repair tool, completedly unistalled Office and re-installed it.
All with no luck. All the other Office programs run, just not Access. Does
anyone know how to fix this?
