Installation problems on Windows XP

Installation problem. My son gave me his copy of Office 2000. Problem at registry: probram not listed in registry
I get three chioces: ignore, cancel, or retry. I ignore and the probram will install, but will not run correctly
Problem is numbered: 1019, or 1919 it says cannot find in registry
I did not buy this, it came on my son's computer, but he did not want to use it, so he gave it to me

You *CANNOT* install it on your computer - it's OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) installed and the licence is non-transferable. It is
inextricably tied to your son's system and may not be given to anyone else
(unless as part of the package - i.e. he gives you the computer as well).
