Installation Question

I am attempting to follow the installation guide contained on the Project
server CD. Ref the initial steps of creating User accocunts, I am trying to
create the SQL Server account - but the instructions are relevant to only to
the Enterprise Version of SQL Server which i don't have - I only have
standard. Are there any equivalent instructiond for those who only have SQL
Server standard - which Project server supposedly supports?

Either SQL2000 Standard or Enterprise can be used. There is no difference as
far as MS Project Server is concerned for installation purposes.

The big plus (in my opinion) for Enterprise is the ability to use more than
2G RAM since SQL is a memory hog...

But I digress. Either works. Do you have a specific problem you are stuck
on? If so, please re-post. Thanks...

Hi, thanks. I am using SQL Server 2005 and attempting to set up the initial
sql account in order to install Project server but the installation
instructions are written from the viewpoint of someone who has SQL Enterprise
installed as opposed to just basic SQL. So - with my basic SQL Server 2005 -
how do I create a user account?
