Installation/repair problem

I can't repair, uninstall, or reinstall Office Professional Plus 2007. It
started when I tried to add imaging to Office tools. It kept giving me an
error message about missing or unaddressable files. I tried to repair, but it
failed. I tried to uninstall, but it failed. I can't reinstall either. How
can I fix this problem?

I followed the directions but now I can neither install or uninstall Office
2007. What else can I do to remedy the problem?
