Installation--SharePoint Configuration Wizard failing

K

Kevin Williams

Hello,

I'm trying to do a single server Project Server Installation on a Virtual
Server. I already have SPS, WSS, and SQL Server (including analytics) on the
server.

Following the instructions, I try to use the SharePoint Configuration Wizard
to deploy the Project Server Template and to create the Project Server
Templates (forgot the exact name) WSSSite. Going through the wizard, it asks
me for the configuration information (owner username, email address,
sites/personal location, etc...). It then tries to do the installation and
the installation disappears. I ran the installation from the command line to
output the log file and got the following:

Validating virtual server: Default Web Site
Virtual server is valid.
Validating site prefix: sites
Site prefix exists.
Debugging has been initialized.
Checking operating system version.
Operating system version correct (5.2)
Initializing data collection user interface.
Initializing installation confirmation dialog.
Getting template ID name from SharePoint.

After the last line...everything just disappears. Does anyone have any idea
how to troubleshoot this, or what the problem is?

Thanks in advance,

Kevin Williams
