Installation Source Still listed as missing after reinstall

I have this problem several times, I go to office update or detect and repair
and it says that my installation source is missing, I reinstall office 2003
and it works for a few days and then all of the sudden I try to update and it
says that my installation source is missing. This is getting really old to
have to keep reinstalling office, any ideas on how to correct this.

I'd be really interested in knowing the answer to this as well. I have
exactly the same problem with Office 2000. At some point, a Detect and
Repair brings up the message "The installation source for this product
is not available........". Use of the Windows Install Cleanup Tool
allows me to reinstall Office 2000 and Service Packs up to SP3 from WU,
then I will find later that the Detect and Repair utility is broken
again.
