Installation Unsuccessful for Office XP Service Pack 3 - Help

I have tried several times now to install Office XP SP3 and each time the
install process ends with the message "Installation Unsuccessful". The are no
other error messages or diagnostic details.

I do have the Office XP and XP Pro CDs, but at no time during the install
process am I prompted to use them.

Can anyone help
