Why does it say "installation unsuccessful" when trying to install office
updates?

You don't mention what version of Office you're using, but this article may

Thanks Susan. The Office version I have is MS Office 2003 Pro. All of a
sudden I cant get any of the office updates. It sayes "installation
unsuccessfull". So I downloaded one of the updates to my hard drive & tryed
to install it that way. I received an error message "Error 2902:
ifxAssemblyCopy error...".
I have no clue what's going on??
