Followed the installation instructions (I think) for Mac Office X and
instead of Personal Assistant setup got a 30 day trial version. Can
you help???

To run Office, you need to first take the Trial version off your
machine.

Run the Remove Office application which is in the Value Pack folder
of your installation CD.

Then reload Office from the CD, and apply the 10.1.2, 10.1.4 and
10.1.5 updaters found at

and repair permissions:

OS 10.2.x/10.3.x: Run the Disk Utility (in the
../Applications/Utilities
folder). From the First Aid tab, click "Repair Disk Permissions".

OS 10.1.5: Run Repair Privileges (same folder, or download from
