Well title is self explanitory. I installed Office 2007 Beta 2 w/ out
thinking it through and backing up 2003, what can i do exactly to get 2003
back when Feb. 1, 2007 rolls around and Beta expires?

REmove Office 2007 from the Add/Remove option in Control Panel, reboot,
insert your Office 2003 CD and install.

Sounds simple but here is the problem, my IP guy installed it for me and took
the disk w/ him for some strange reason so i guess its time to work on
getting it back. Thanks Milly for your help.

Never, never, never let someone walk off with your software. Remember how
much you paid for Office? That "IT guy" just stole that amount from you.

One quick thought also, I haven't been following the 2007 beta fiasco too
much but as I understand it that if you save data files in the native 2007
instead of the Office 97-03 format you may have great problems retrieving
them when you go back to 2003 version.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

That's my understanding as well. You'll need to impose upon someone with
2007 to do a Save As.

Boy do I know what you mean by not converting. My only problem when running
multiple versions of Office on a computer (97, 00, XP & 03) is when 03 tries
to open a 97 file that has a mail merge in it. Totally screwed up. I live
with it and try to make sure that 97 is what I use to open that mail merge
file but when I make the mistake, that's what backups are for.
