installed fonts are "missing" in Publisher 2003

I'm having a problem where several weights of Frutiger that were newly
installed on my Windows XP system are displayed as "missing" in the Publisher
font menu. I've tried both Truetype and Postscript versions- same problem.
I know that I'm supposed to use the style menu to specify bold and
italic- but how do I make the missing font messgae go away?

Hi,

I am not sure, but found some under Tools / commercial printertools / fonts
And.... In printer settings there are some settings.
Secondly....I do not understand what you mean by Not Displayed.
Do you mean in the colum whare you can change the tekst settings, like
option Arial, Verdana etc?
If that is the case, then maybe they are not in the right directory on your
disk.

Hope this helps

Even if they are in the right folder they may not show in Publisher, are in
other programs for that matter. I ahve had that happen also.

If they are just copied to the font folder, or if they are not installed
correctly, they may not be registered properly. I suggest deleting the files
from the font folder (assuming you have a copy elsewhere) and using some
software that "Installs" the fonts. Installing them means that they, through
some magic, get registered properly.
