Installed Office 20003, Now Firefox Doesn't Work?????

I recently installed Office 2003 on my computer and after installation,
Firefox browser will not open correctly. It opens, but the browser is
stripped of all graphics and leaves me with just text and blank white space.
The homepage doesn't appear and the address bar is really thin...can't even
type in it. I tried unistalling Firefox several times and re-installing and
yet get the same problem replicating itself. Any solutions or has someone had
this same problem? Much appreciated for any help....
