We created a MSP for "Office 2007" and the "Save as PDF/XPS" addin
using the "Office Customization Tool" which had "Enforce PDF
compliance with ISO 19005-1 (PDF/A)" set to "Enforce".
A user however needed to be able to change some of the options which
were grayed out by the previously mentioned setting.
We tried to uninstall and then re-install just the Save as PDF plugin,
but that didn't change the settings. We then downloaded and installed
the Office 2007 SP2 GPO templates and created a policy which changes
that setting to "Encourage" and then assigned it to "Authenticated
Users". The options are still grayed out.
What do we have to do to re-enable those options, or is a uninstall
and re-install of all of Office the only way to go?
