Installed Onenote of Desktop PC

I have installed Onenote on my Windows XP pro /sp2 desktop computer. Onenote
is unable to recognize my desktop keyboard for any input.

Is there something I need to install to make the desktop keyboard work?

Thx

Brian,

This should "just work".

Am I correct in assuming that other programs that you enter text into
accept characters, as expected, from the keyboard?

If so, a simple step to try in OneNote is Help | Detect and Repair. I
wouldn't have high hopes for this problem but it's simple to do.

Otherwise I think that I would uninstall OneNote from Add/Remove
Programs then run the install again.

And keep your fingers crossed. :)

Did you activate your copy of OneNote?

I had the same problem of not being able to type. I had to reboot before it
worked. I guess I'm used to things that tell me I have to do that. Once I
rebooted it worked fine.

Hello Kathy,

I saw your answers posted and thought you might be able to help me.

Yesterday, I discovered on the MS website, a product called Groove, which on
the surface, I thought, sounds like it is supposed to do the same thing as a
product mentioned by Ken on one of these threads, (Foldershare.com), but
only better and more.

I also started to evaluate the OneNote package and it seems like it is doing
some of the similar type things. Shareing resources amongst a group for
collaboration and group productivity.

How do these prodcuts related to each other than and why have them all, if
they duplicate eachother?
(OneNote, Groove, FolderShare, and even slightly, MS Project)
