installed script not showing up in Entourage 2008

I've tried placing a script into the following directory:
Documents>Microsoft User Data>Entourage Script Menu Items,
and the script is not showing up in my Entourage 2008 script menu. I've
rebooted the app. as well as the computer. Any thoughts?

you have probably saved the script as an application, or as a text file. They MUST be compiled script format to show up in the menu.
