Installed Suite -> ONLY WANT WORD

I have a netbook with limited RAM. I recently installed the office 2007
suite, which, as you can imagine, was burdensome for the netbook. I really
only use Word.

Would there be any way to individually uninstall programs from the suite?

I'm not very familiar with computers, so simple(r) steps would be appreciated!

Thank You :)

If I follow the steps listed, and select the "Not Available" option, will the
programs be uninstalled from my netbook. In other words, will less space
actually be used etc. or will it just remove the option of accessing those
programs?

Sorry for the questions, just for clarification purposes.

Thank you for the help!

It will uninstall them.
Presumably you confused RAM (memory) with disk space, if so I have to ask
what size ram and what size drive?

My apologies, again, I am fairly inept when it comes to computers :)

I have about 1014 MB of RAM...I'm not sure of disk space, but it's also
fairly limited.

I was hoping that uninstalling components of the office suite that I do not
use would help eradicate some of the speed problems I am having, and overall
help the netbook run more smoothly?

You should have a My Computer icon on your desktop, double click it, you
should then see what size C is and what free space is available
What make/model is this netbook?

Nope, the amount of RAM you have (or don't have) is where the problem
lies. You will need to remove or disable other nonessential programs
that are loaded to prevent the slowness problem you have caused by
accessing the swapfile due to insufficient memory for everything you are
attempting to run concurrently.
