Installed Trial version of Office, nowexisting Entourage copy doesn't work

My company installed entourage '08 for me but they don't have any licenses for Excel, Powerpoint & Word. I downloaded the free trial and installed only the trial versions of excel, powerpoint & word. after installation, it said i needed to update office, so I ran an update. after instaling the trial and the update, I tried to open entourage and it is giving a message that says:

A problem has been detected with the Microsoft Office Installation. Try running the Office Installer again to resolve the problem.

Have I lost my mailboxes saved on my machine? I'm really nervous to install another version of entourage over the existing one cause I'm worried I'll lose my saved email...

Please help!

You need to ask your company to help you with this.

Your Exchange mail is on the server, you just need to sync back up. If you
have mail in folders "On My Computer" that data should not have affected by
the install. Your data is stored in a "Main Identity" in this location:

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities folder
