Hi,

i have a problem with the installer. Whenever it reaches 5 bars in the
installation it crashes. From the logs i found that the error is:

Error: Failed to create download: cannot get or load download from the given
download ID "{30120000-006E-0409-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C". Error code:

It is occuring in the file setup.xml according to the error reporting
application.

I have Expression Web Designer installed as I am part of the beta. Can it be
that EWD is causing the problem as it installs some Office 2007 components
and maybe there is some kind of conflict.

Any help please?

I read at the EWD website that there are some incompabilities with Office
2007 indeed. Although this was written before beta 2 of Office 2007 came out,
so if that's still valid I don't know. Apparently EWD will refuse to install
if you have Office 2007 installed already. It says nothing about the other
way around, like what you are trying to do.

There's also a post in the EWD discussion group though, from Cheryl D Wise
saying that she's got Office 2007 and EWD installed and working at the same
time, so there's got to be some sort of workaround.

I'm downloading the Office 2007 beta 2 right now, and I have EWD installed
so if I might run into the same troubles that you're having. If I figure out
a way to get it working, I'll let you know.
