Installer support for OLAP features

Curious as to why Microsoft doesn't provide support in the Project Server
installer to install the OLAP features. It's almost as if this functionality
was an after thought.

I'm guessing that its because the Office Product Group (which "owns" Project
in Microsoft parlance) does not want to have a reliance on another Product
Groups product that they have no control over (ie SQL) within their
installer. There are options in MST files anyway to run other programs, so
it is still possible to get a single install that will install the software
required for OLAP and do other things such as add user accounts etc.

Brian:

Ben makes a good point, but beyond that, it's not an installation challenge
as much as it is a configuration challenge.
