Installer won't finish

We have downloaded a Charitable Organization version of Office 2008. I cannot get the installer to go past the last screen and finish. I enter all my identification info at the "Identity" prompt and hit the "Continue" button but nothing ever happens.

The installer won't go the "Feedback" screen.

Done this several times.
What gives?

Check the DVD Player setting re-set it to the max speed.

As I mentioned we previously, we "downloaded" the software. We purchased it on line from a retailer and he provided us with a download license. It was installed once successfully. I had a problem with my OS 10 user account and had to create a new one. Because of this I needed to reinstall Office 2008.

had to create a new one. Because of this I needed to reinstall Office 2008.

Office 2008 should have been installed in the root Application folder. It
can be used by all Users. No need to re-install. If you did install it in
your User's Application folder, then you can simply drag it to the root
Application folder.

The installer won't go past "Identity".

I don't remember anything about Identity when installing Office 2008. Is
this coming up when you are asked to import an Identity?

Hi Skip, Can you provide where you purchased Office? I have checked and
there is no legitimate/legal versions available for download. Providing this
info would help keep others from being scammed. You can contact me off list
if you would prefer.
