Installing 2003 academic versions ?

T

TimR

I am installing Office2003Pro academic version on my daughters computer.
Can someone tell me how many times this can be installed. We would like to
install it on her laptop...home desktop...and office desktop ?

Is there a number of times that this can be installed ?

We are thinking of replacing her home desktop...so if it is installed
now...can I we re-install it on the new system...?...that's still only three
systems...but I guess that would be four installs ?

I looked around MS website and academic pages...but couldn't find anything
specific

Thanks, Ti R

Thanks for the quick response...problem is I haven't opened the box yet...if
I can only install on one single computer...then we will probably return the
software...an earlier reply by an MVP said I should get the academic version
rather than the student/teacher version...but the student/teacher version
allows three installs (don't know how MS knows how many times you
install...but they must somehow ?)

Any way to find out "before" I open the box ?

Thanks...

As far as I know, an academic version only allows activation on
one computer. Note that neither the academic version nor
Students and Teachers Edition should be installed on your
daughter's office computer, because both are intended for
non-commercial use only.
