Installing Access 2000 on XP

How can I install Access 2000 on XP? Or do I need to
upgrade? I am Getting Error 1608.

I've run Access 2000 on Windows98, Windows2000, NT4, and WindowsXP.
The error is from some other cause.

Are you attempting to install an upgrade version? This error seems to be returned if an
upgrade version of a product cannot detect a qualifying product during setup:

This error can also be indicative of a network problem with SQL Server:
