Installing Access 2000 w/ Access 2002 already installed on XP Pro

My questions is just a general question so I make sure I don't mess myself up.

I have Access XP installed on XP Pro and have never had another Office
installation since wiping my hard drive and installing XP Pro.

I need to install Access 2000 only (none of the other programs), because I
am having code conflicts when writing apps in 2002, then delivvering them to
clients using 2000.

I want to make sure I don't screw up my 2002 installation. What process
should I use to install 2000, so it does not mess up my 2002 installation?
Are they any pitfalls I need to be aware of? Will I be able to gets updates
for 2000 and not mess up my 2002 installation?
