Installing Access 97

I have to revert to Access 97 in order to support a
customer using old software; my machine has Access 2000
and 2002 installed. During the installation process from
the CD, I get the message that the installation will not
complete because "there is no license for this machine",
or words almost like that. I'll be happy to provide the
exact words if that will help anyone.

I'm stuck, and so is the customer, unless I can get some
help.
